About Me

I grew up on my family’s dairy farm located in rural PA, which I was fortunate enough to be close to my grandma, aunt, uncle, and cousins (AKA the farm fam) -  most everything I have done growing up are because they have pushed me to do my best at whatever I do.

I am an alum of 4-H, the Tioga County Dairy Princess program, and the Tioga County Youth Leadership program. Along with these extracurricular programs, I was involved with several sports and activities, such as FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) and Key Club.

After high school, I attended Alvernia University, where one of the biggest impacts on my future was working on the student-led project, Bog Turtle Creek Farm. I became more involved with not only sustainability, but finding my passion. Alvernia has given me real-world experiences beyond the classroom and connections that I would not have gotten otherwise.

Since graduation, I have been fortunate enough to be involved with service opportunities that have connected me to several agricultural, sustainability, and environmental organizations not only in PA, but around the nation and world. I was fortunate enough to travel within the states, as well as, to Canada, Ireland, and Senegal to learn and work alongside other knowledgeable individuals.

Aside from these various academic achievements, I volunteer as much as I can, do mission work and help with my county fair. I have been involved with various agricultural organizations and initiatives, as well.

This is why I aspire to be involved with the agricultural and food systems industry while being an advocate. I am more than willing to learn, get out of my comfort zone, and try new experiences to grow as a person.
